The impact of the REACH regulation for Rollon
Rollon GmbH is a Downstream User according to the REACH classification. This means that we are not responsible for the registering of chemicals. Because we have no influence on the registration of chemicals sourced from our suppliers, we have taken the step of contacting our suppliers in this regard. It is our assumption that all chemicals used in our processes are pre-registered subject to later final registration. The pre-registration of all chemicals used in the EU has been under way since 1 June 2007 following the coming into force of the REACH regulations. Concerning any chemicals which are found not to be pre-registered, and therefore are no longer deliverable, we shall undertake to organise alternatives.
For information and current news about REACH, visit the German Environment Agency information portal.
If you have other questions about the REACH situation at Rollon, please contact our quality management officer, Mr Jürgen Gowitzke.
